ABCT Women's SIG



The Women's SIG invites you to submit nominations for the 2023 Early Career Award!


Nominators should submit a full, complete nomination PDF by a date TBD to Maya Hubbard with "ABCT 2023 Women’s SIG Early Career_LAST NAME" in the subject line.


Eligibility Requirements
Applicants must be:

  •  psychologists with an Ed.D., Psy.D., or Ph.D. from an accredited university
  •  no more than 10 years postdoctoral
  •  a member of the Women’s SIG

Membership dues are $16/year for full members and $8/year for student members. You can
become a member by visiting the Women’s SIG website (www.abctwomenssig.com) and
clicking the “Pay Dues” tab.)


Evaluation Criteria
Nominations will be evaluated on:

  •  Conformance with qualifications stated above
  •  Magnitude of professional accomplishment in advancing knowledge and/or awareness of women’s health and mental health, and/or
  •  Demonstrated improvement in the well-being of women through service (including, but not limited to clinical service, service in a leadership capacity or advocacy role, mentorship of students, and/or early career colleagues).


Nomination Requirements

  •  Nomination letter written by the nominee or the person nominating the nominee (no longer than 2 pages, double-spaced) outlining the nominee’s career contributions
  • Current CV


Please note that incomplete submissions will not be accepted. Feel free to contact Lane Ritchie with any questions. In addition to being recognized at the Women’s SIG meeting at this year’s conference, the winner will be reimbursed for their ABCT conference registration.
